State exactly how length is being measured and whether the dimension applies to the housing, inner cable or complete assembly.
Housing
Outside diameter, construction, liner information and any required bend or environment considerations if known.
Inner cable
Diameter, material or coating requirement if specified, and whether the application is pull-only or push-pull.
End fittings
Photos, drawings and dimensions for threaded ends, nipples, clevises, ferrules, bulkhead fittings or other terminations.
Application
Equipment type, motion required, travel, load and environmental exposure can be important when no direct part number exists.
Quantity & timing
Required quantity, repeat-order expectation and required-by date affect sourcing and pricing.

Questions buyers ask
What measurements do you need for a Bowden cable quote?
At minimum, provide clear length references, housing outside diameter, inner cable diameter and end-fitting details. A photo beside a ruler or caliper can help, but drawings or measured dimensions are better.
Can you make an exact replacement from a photo?
A photo can start the conversation, but it may not establish functional length, cable construction, load or fitting dimensions. We may request additional measurements or a manufacturer reference.
Can I request one cable or a production quantity?
Submit the quantity you actually need. Availability, minimum order quantities and pricing depend on the specification and sourcing route.
Do you publish a fixed cable price?
No. Cable assemblies can vary substantially in length, housing, wire, end fittings and quantity. Use Request Pricing for a current quote.
What if I only know the equipment model?
Include the equipment manufacturer, model, serial information if relevant, photos of the installed cable and any markings. That may provide a better starting point for identification.
