What information should I include in an RFQ?
Part number/manufacturer if known, quantity, dimensions/specification, clear photos or drawings, application, required-by date and delivery location.
Can I upload drawings and photos?
Yes. The RFQ form accepts common document and image formats. Do not upload confidential or controlled information unless you are authorized to share it and the receiving arrangement is appropriate.
Do you sell directly online at fixed prices?
The current site uses RFQ pricing because industrial products can vary by specification, quantity, source and timing.
Can you source items that are not shown on the website?
Other industrial sourcing requests can be submitted for review. The public categories are focus areas rather than a complete inventory.
Can you guarantee a substitute will fit or perform the same?
No. A proposed alternative should be reviewed against the actual dimensions, materials, ratings, standards and application requirements.
How quickly will I receive a quote?
Timing depends on the product and how complete the request is. Clear references and specifications usually reduce clarification time.
Do you serve outside Toronto?
Akal Sahai is Toronto-based and focuses on Ontario. Other delivery requirements can be submitted for review.
