Industrial Bearings

Bearing numbers are ideal, but dimensions, photos and equipment references can also help narrow a sourcing request. Final selection should be checked against the application requirements.

WHAT WE CAN REVIEW

Bearing identification and sourcing requests

Industrial bearing requirements can involve replacement of an existing bearing, identification from markings and dimensions, or sourcing against a known manufacturer reference. The correct match may depend on more than outside diameter alone.

  • Deep-groove and other ball-bearing requests
  • Roller and needle-bearing requests
  • Mounted or housed bearing requests
  • Replacement searches using manufacturer numbers or equipment references

SPECIFICATION

Details that help us quote correctly

If the original part number is readable, include it. If not, dimensions and application details become more important.

Part number / markings

Photograph all visible markings on the inner race, outer race, shield, seal or housing.

Dimensions

Inside diameter (bore), outside diameter and width are the basic measurements for many bearing searches.

Bearing type

Ball, roller, needle, thrust, mounted/housed and other constructions are not interchangeable simply because a few dimensions match.

Seals / shields

Note open, shielded or sealed construction and any suffixes on the original part number.

Load / speed / environment

When selecting an alternative rather than an exact part-number match, operating conditions may matter.

Quantity & equipment

Include quantity and the machine or assembly where the bearing is used, especially when the original reference is incomplete.

PRICING

Pricing is quoted to the actual requirement.

Bearing pricing varies by type, size, manufacturer, quantity, availability and required documentation. Submit the part number or dimensions for current pricing.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What are the three most useful bearing measurements?

For many standard bearings, bore (inside diameter), outside diameter and width are a useful starting point. Bearing type and markings are still important.

Can you identify a bearing without a part number?

Sometimes. Clear photos, accurate dimensions, seal/shield details and equipment information can narrow the search. We will tell you if the information is insufficient.

Should I replace a bearing with the same dimensions from another type?

Not automatically. Load direction, speed, clearance, seals, lubrication and other application requirements can differ. Dimensional similarity does not prove technical equivalency.

Can you quote a specific manufacturer number?

Yes, submit the complete manufacturer and part number if known, along with quantity and required-by date.

Are prices shown online?

No. Request current pricing based on the exact bearing reference, quantity and availability.
