DON’T KNOW THE EXACT PART?

A useful RFQ can start with incomplete information.

Maintenance and procurement teams do not always have a clean manufacturer part number. A photo, approximate dimensions, equipment information and a description of what the component does can still be a practical starting point. We will tell you when more information is needed before a quote can be meaningful.

  • Upload photos, drawings or specification sheets
  • Add manufacturer or equipment references if known
  • Tell us quantity and required-by date
  • Explain the application when identification is uncertain

HOW IT WORKS

Built around a clear RFQ, not a guessing game.

01

Send the requirement

Part number, drawing, photo, dimensions, quantity and delivery location if available.

02

Clarify unknowns

We identify the missing details that matter before sourcing or quoting.

03

Review options

Availability, specifications, pricing and lead-time information are organized for the request.

04

Approve next step

Once commercial and technical details are accepted, procurement coordination can proceed.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Useful answers before you send an RFQ.

Can I request a product that is not shown on the website?

Yes. The product pages describe focus areas, not a complete inventory. Use the RFQ form to submit other industrial component or sourcing requirements for review.

Do you publish fixed prices online?

Not for the current sourcing model. Price can depend on specification, quantity, manufacturer, availability, delivery location and timing. Product pages provide a direct Request Pricing path into the RFQ form.

What should I upload with an RFQ?

A drawing, specification sheet, clear product photos or other reference documents can be uploaded. Include a part number, manufacturer, dimensions and application details whenever available.

Can you identify a replacement from a photo?

A photo can be a useful starting point, but it may not establish dimensions, material, rating or compatibility. We may ask for measurements, equipment information or manufacturer references before quoting.

Where do you provide service?

Akal Sahai is Toronto-based and focuses on Ontario businesses. Delivery and sourcing options depend on the individual request.

READY TO START?

Send the part, requirement or problem you are trying to solve.

The RFQ form accepts technical details and file uploads. Pricing is requested against the actual specification and quantity.
